Key Project Requirements

:

Experience managing InEight and TeamBinder systems for compliance and organization. 3+ years in construction, commissioning, or power generation document control. Strong Organization & Tracking - Ability to review, track, and distribute project documents efficiently.



Job Summary

:

PIC Group has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Document Control Specialist to support a 162-MW facility that will include 6 LM2500XPRESS units. The Document Control Specialist reports directly to the Commissioning Manager and will be responsible for reviewing and when needed modifying site procedures as well as P&ID documents. The Document Control Specialist will work closely with various departments to review, revise, and distribute documents, as well as maintaining document storage and retrieval systems, and build a document library.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

:

Control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing, and retrieval of electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects, or departments. Manage the document lifecycle (creation, review, approval, distribution, and archival) to ensure documents are completed in a timely manner. Review and update documents and forms to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement document control procedures and workflows in accordance with company policies. Maintain and be familiar with InEight and TeamBinder document management systems (DMS) to track and manage documents. Train employees on document control procedures and systems. Ensure documents are easily accessible to authorized personnel and that outdated documents are archived appropriately. Coordinate document reviews and approvals with stakeholders and project teams.



Job Requirements

:

Extraordinary attention to detail combined with the ability to manage several tasks at once. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment Prior working experience in a power generation facility. Perform work safely and effectively; understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies of the power plant. Prior working experience with InEight Document and TeamBinder software.



Physical Requirements

:

Duties require walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time, and climbing stairs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to use protective equipment correctly when walking the power plant floor (i.e., hard hats, safety glasses, ear protection, safety shoes, gloves, vests, etc.).



Education / Experience

:

HS Diploma required. Certification in Document Control preferred, not required. 3+ years experience in related roles such as Turn Over Coordinator or Quality Control. 3+ years experience working in construction, commissioning or a power generation facility.



Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $45-$55.

The actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado.
