A healthcare facility in Gulfport Mississippi is seeking a locum Certified or Board Eligible Medical Dosimetrist to join its radiation oncology team as a contract / travel assignment employee.Requirements3+ years of experienceBasic Eclipse treatment planningSBRT planningGood team working abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledgeable in the areas of radiation physics, and radiation safetyHigh level critical thinking and problem solving skills.Works independently, but in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.Has working knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.Has the ability to interpret criteria and develop treatment plans as defined by protocols.Expertise in the technical aspects of radiation oncology and medical physics to develop optimal treatment plans.Estimated PayWe provide a competitive range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location.
