We are seeking an efficient and hardworking Dough Maker to join our commissary team.
Responsibilities
Prepare and mix dough according to established recipes and specifications.
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and practices throughout the dough-making process.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate production schedules and manage inventory levels of ingredients.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following sanitation guidelines at all times.
Utilize kitchen tools and equipment safely, including knives and mixers, while demonstrating proper handling techniques.
Requirements
Proven experience in food production or culinary arts, preferably within the food industry.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; certification is a plus.
Experience with cake decorating techniques is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.
