Job Description

American Equipment Holdings is an organization of leading overhead crane and hoist distributors and field service providers, including American Equipment, Allied Crane, Eastern Crane & Hoist, Facilities Engineering, Kistler Crane & Hoist, Pacific Crane & Hoist, and Washington Crane & Hoist. Together, American Equipment Holdings companies provide comprehensive solutions for everything related to customers\' overhead crane and hoist needs, including OSHA mandated inspections, preventative maintenance and repair field services, parts, engineering, ISO certified fabrication, new and replacement equipment, automated systems, system modernizations and training.

We are looking for a Drafter, the primary responsibilities are-

• Produce for fabrication drawings
• Produce and submit submittals
• Assist Project Management with Steel Quotes
• Create Bill of Materials using drawings
• Complete the required number of Safety Observations each month
• Follow all ISO Quality Control Procedures
• Review drawings and work of others in the department
• Scan, file, and save all documents pertaining to the job
• Keep accurate time for each job
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the lead draftsmen

Additional Training to be provided:

• On the job training pertaining to drafting and design
• Quality management system training (as needed)

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficient in the use of AutoCad
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software

Education and Experience

• Associates degree preferred but not required

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability
