JOB DESCRIPTION

BHE GT&S has an exciting Draftsperson position available in our White Oaks General Office Building located in Bridgeport, WV.

RESPONSIBILITIES

?1. Make drawings, diagrams, graphs, etc., from rough or detailed sketches furnished by engineers, design draftspersons or others.
2. Prepare maps from legal descriptions and survey notes as required.
3. Assist engineers and surveyors in making or checking engineering calculations and various phases of field work as directed.
4. Operate personal computer, CAD, Automated Mapping System, calculator, etc., as required in accomplishing assigned duties.
5. Perform various other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must demonstrate via resume or cover letter that you have met the following Required Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years\' experience in drafting utilizing AutoCad.

Preferences:

1. Experience in the natural gas industry utilizing AutoCad 2015 or later.

2. Experience in GIS (i.e., ESRI, Smallworld)

Education Requirements

Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Preferred: Associate Degree in Design, Drafting, or GIS.
