As a valuable member of our drinking water team, you will support our clients in eastern Massachusetts, eastern Connecticut, and Rhode Island. You may choose to sit at any of our 13 offices. We offer a hybrid remote work environment and flexible Fridays in the summer.
Our Drinking Water Team and Projects
Nearly 100 professional engineers strong and recent recipients of multiple ACEC Engineering Excellence and ASCE Project Awards, our senior technical and project management leaders have earned an outstanding reputation with private, state, and local government clients. We provide planning, design, and construction phase services for the construction of new, or improvements to existing, treatment plants and pump stations. We also assist our clients with capital improvement plans, hydraulic modeling services, and implementing asset management programs.
What will you be doing?
As a Project Engineer, you will assist a team of experts with the development of plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and bid packages. You will be involved in project discussions regarding technical approach, cost, and scheduling performance on traditional design-bid-build projects and design-build projects. To be a successful Project Engineer, you should feel comfortable taking on and delegating many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks for yourself and other Staff Engineers through completion.
What does a Project Engineer need?
Over five years of consulting engineering experience and increasing responsibility in the water industry. A BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or any related field is required, and an MS degree is preferred. Project Engineers will need either a PE license or the ability to obtain one in the next 6 months. You are expected to be enthusiastic to learn, self-motivated, and have strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills.

The salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s skill and experience; the salary range for this position is $73,000 - $112,000.
