The Bus Driver/ Chauffeur II is responsible for:

VEHICLE OPERATION

Maintaining a safe environment by complying with all traffic regulations, and adhering to our COVID-19 pandemic response plan. * Following emergency procedures and enforcing passenger safety/conduct rules.

• Fueling vehicles as necessary.

PASSENGER EXPERIENCE

• Aiding passengers as needed or as requested, as well as verifying that all passengers are properly secured.
• Regulating heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort.
• Upholding vehicle interior in a neat condition during service operation.
• Maintaining manifest information confidentiality.
• Cultivating a professional and positive environment.

DOCUMENTATION

• Logging accurate records, including receiving and accounting for fares, radio communications.
• Communicating irregularities to the Customer Care team utilizing a two-way radio to contact and preparing written reports.

• You have a strong command of the English language.

• You may have current or prior experience as a bus, shuttle, or ride share driver.

• A valid Michigan Chauffeur\xe2\x80\x99s license (or the ability to acquire one).
• You\xe2\x80\x99re capable of lifting at least 50 pounds.
• You can pass the Department of Transportation\xe2\x80\x99s physical examination.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• The ability to adhere to the requirements and standards of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
