The Driver contributes to Mattress Firm's success by being a positive final interaction with our customer.

• Navigates to each destination on the schedule and records delivery logs as they complete deliveries to both customers and stores
• Communicates with customers to ensure World Class Service is provided
• Ensures proper set up and removal of old products in a safe manner
• Operates according to safety policies and procedures
• Is a positive brand ambassador
• Pulls and stages product for delivery
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of product to ensure timely service

• Operates a truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations. Size of truck is more than three tons
• Obtains client and customer signatures as acknowledgment of having received the delivered products
• Maintains contact with router to receive instructions about scheduled delivery or pick up
• Follows delivery driving routes and time schedules
• Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations
• Is responsible for daily vehicle inspection reporting and routine maintenance of vehicle and all other equipment provided
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all
• Assists in warehouse duties when necessary
• Ensures safe and timely transfer of products between store locations

Pay Range: Up to $23.50 per hour
