Barrel 33 is looking for a passionate, self-motivated
Marketing & Assistant General Manager
to lead our team, engage with guests, and drive sales through creative marketing initiatives. This dual-role position requires a balance of operational leadership and strategic marketing execution. What You'll Do:
Leadership & Operations:
Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Support the General Manager in overseeing sales, budgets, labor, and inventory management.
Assist in hiring, training, and coaching employees to ensure excellent guest service and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local and state food and alcohol service regulations.
Guest Experience & Sales Growth:
Greet and engage with guests, delivering exceptional service that builds long-term loyalty.
Thoughtfully resolve guest concerns to maintain positive experiences.
Oversee and manage special events, including Wine Club memberships and pickup parties.
Represent the Barrel 33 brand with enthusiasm, sharing our passion for wine and hospitality.
Marketing & Brand Awareness:
Develop and execute marketing programs to support business objectives and increase guest traffic.
Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Eventbrite) to create engaging content and promotions.
Design and oversee the production of marketing materials, including weekly newsletters, flyers, advertising, and promotional specials.
Handle email campaigns, respond to guest reviews (Yelp, Google, Facebook), and track marketing program outcomes.
Conduct market research, analyze sales data, and implement loyalty/reward programs to drive business growth.
Maintain website updates and ensure brand messaging aligns with company goals.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of leadership experience in hospitality and brand management.
A passion for wine and the guest experience.
Strong understanding of sales, social media, marketing campaigns, and event planning.
Ability to think creatively and strategically to drive business success.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and problem-solving.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures.
Proficiency in Squarespace, email campaign management, and social media analytics is a plus.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license may be required.
