WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for enthusiastic guest service-oriented people with a history of working in commercial kitchen settings who are willing to work in a food service environment all day and are interested in designing a new menu for Eaglecrest Ski Area. You should enjoy being around other skiers and snowboarders creating a friendly upbeat atmosphere at the kitchen window, cafeteria area, and the kitchen cashier station. Ski or Snowboard Experience is a bonus.

The Base Operations Team is a fun group that has an opportunity to experience many different parts of the mountain. Those that have ski and snowboard experience will to able to ski or snowboard during breaks throughout the day. You will receive discounts in the cafeteria, retail shop, rental shop, and on ski lessons.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
You will be working in the kitchen and cafeteria at Eaglecrest Ski Area base area at 3000 Fish Creek Road Wednesday through Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Weekends and Holidays are mandatory. Overtime pay will be possible during holiday weeks.
Typical Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Director of Base Operations the Food Service Supervisor is responsible for the smooth functioning of the kitchen and dining areas. This position is responsible for inventorying and ordering all food and equipment, hiring, training, motivating, and discipling kitchen staff, as appropriate. The Food Service Supervisor assures a high level of guest service, a menu with a variety of food offerings, and reasonable levels of profitability.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school graduation or the equivalent.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in food preparation and general maintenance of a kitchen or dining area including at least six (6) months of supervisory experience.
