Eaglecrest is looking to fill one vacancy in our Mechanic III job class. We are looking for a journey level mechanic with a ski lift focus to join our Eaglecrest Team.THE BENEFITS OF JOINING OUR TEAM

Our typical work week is Wednesday through Sunday 7:00am to 4:00pm during the winter season. Options to work a flex schedule in the summer is present.Working holidays and weekends is mandatory.Typical ResponsibilitiesThis position operates under general supervision and is tasked with independently carrying out both routine and intricate maintenance and repair tasks on ski area equipment and structures. The role includes leadership responsibilities such as delegating daily tasks, training staff, providing guidance, and reviewing the work of junior Mechanics. Additionally, the incumbent may make decisions regarding maintenance or repairs in the absence of the Lift and Vehicle Maintenance Manager and the Director of Mountain Operations. Eaglecrest boasts a diverse range of heavy machinery, including Excavators, dump trucks, road graders, snowcats, snowmobiles, and 4-wheelers, offering extensive exposure to various equipment. The majority of our machinery is non-tier 4, with the exception of our 2018 Pisten Bully 400 winch cat. Eaglecrest features three Riblet double chairlifts, one Hall double chair, and is in the process of installing a Doppelmayr fixed-grip pulsing Gondola.Minimum QualificationsEducation:NoneExperience:Two (2) years of experience in the maintenance and repair mechanical systems or low voltageelectrical control systems.Substitution:One (1) year of technical education in automotive, mechanical, or electrical studiesmay substitute for one year of the required experience.Other:A valid driver\'s license at time of appointment.Supplemental InformationThis position is open until filled.
