The Helena Public School District is hiring for a part-time morning Early Childhood Literacy program teacher. This program is designed for four year old to assist in developing early literacy skills through instruction and play. Early literacy programs can improve kindergarten readiness, particularly for disadvantaged children.Current entry-level starting salary is $21,436 - $24,651.87 (prorated for part-time) depending upon education level and applicable experience. • Teach district approved curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional material.
• Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.

Who we are looking for:
To become part of this dedicated team, you have a Montana teaching certificate with elementary endorsement area.
The ideal candidate will possess K-3 or Early Childhood endorsement areas, and at least a year of successful teaching experience in an elementary classroom.While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally relocate items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include read handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.How to Apply
