ABOUT THE ROLE

:



As Product Specialist I, you will be responsible for optimizing the customer experience for online users. This includes new product launches, product page and landing page development, keyword optimization, merchandizing, price analysis and product portfolio management among other duties. This position will be responsible for meeting deadlines on product launches, understanding consumer behavior and optimizing the website experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Write and edit product content that will be published on e-commerce website. Follow set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance. Work closely with different teams (product development, engineering, brand, sales) to provide updated content that will be shared across e-Commerce platforms. Provide support in other areas of organic and performance marketing including PPC, Email Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, Website UX, and paid social media. Be a subject matter expert to assigned product categories. Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) to stay organized.

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis. Proven track record of analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for improving product performance Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms with a focus on B2C e-commerce metrics. Hands-on experience with Shopify and other B2C e-commerce platforms Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with the ability to extract meaningful trends and patterns from large datasets in the context of B2C e-commerce. Solid understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and the competitive landscape in the B2C e-commerce space. Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to B2C e-commerce, such as conversion rate, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant data analysis tools


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:


Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
