Summary

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the RN provides age-appropriate patient care. With guidance and oversight of the Registered Nurse, performs duties to support the daily care of the patients. In a team relationship, gathers data relevant to the individual needs of the patient and/or family and immediately reports status to appropriate personnel.

REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate\'s degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. 2-3 years ED and/or 2-3 years MD EMT Basic or National Registry EMT and/or Paramedic or Medical Corpsman. American Heart Association CPR Certification, GNA/CNA Certification from the MD Board of Nursing, Hospital orientation/training program.
