Education Program Manager

The Education Program Manager will provide educational support for all Patient Experience initiatives as needed. Assesses learning needs, develops and implements education, orientation, and training to support hospital needs. Determines appropriate delivery methods to facilitate transfer of content into practice. Creates an environment that facilitates student learning and achievement of outcomes. Works collaboratively with departments and medical staff to ensure coordination and integration of medical and clinical processes to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Minimum five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting required.

Minimum two years\xe2\x80\x99 Acute Care Nursing Management experience required.
Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical programs required

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree required.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of California required.

Current basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Current Advance Life support (ACLS) preferred.
Advanced National Certification preferred.
