Electrical Engineer, Lead
Key Role:
Research, design, analyze, integrate, and test electromagnetic and electro-optical (E/O) systems and components in support of undersea Electronic Warfare, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems and E/O systems, including lasers. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. Plan, conduct, and direct research or development. Work on complex projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches. Plan and direct projects and supply technical inspiration, leadership, and consultation to professional co-workers. Work with a wide latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with Electronic Warfare, E/O systems, Periscopes, or USW imaging and sensing systems
Experience with the application of undersea technologies and the impacts on the integration of systems into submarines
Knowledge of Electromagnetics and E/O in numerous physical mediums
Ability to demonstrate recognized standing in the professional field through a combination of original contributions and positions of leadership
Ability to convey complex technical and system constructs across a diverse and integrated science, engineering, and acquisition team
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to translate complex data or content into digestible terms for layman audiences
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance
Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical field preferred; Doctorate degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical field a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual\xe2\x80\x99s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen\xe2\x80\x99s total compensation package for employees.
