We are a family-oriented Midwest based company in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. As a result of our tremendous growth, we have a need for an Electrical & Instrumentation Service Technician. The E&I Service Technician troubleshoots, repairs, builds, and installs electrical systems used to power, monitor, and control fluid process systems in a variety of markets.

What You Get To Do

\xc2\xb7 Installs conduit, power, and control wiring.

\xc2\xb7 Assembles electrical and pneumatic control panels.

\xc2\xb7 Configures and calibrates instrumentation.

\xc2\xb7 Configures and troubleshoots VFD\'s.

\xc2\xb7 Configures tunes and operates PID controllers.

\xc2\xb7 Loads, troubleshoots, and tests PLC and HMI programs.

\xc2\xb7 Works with Ethernet communication networks.

\xc2\xb7 Understands and ensures compliance with NEC regulations and UL quality standards.

\xc2\xb7 Works with customers in the field, requiring approximately 10% overnight travel time and ability to travel via air.

\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoots equipment and system problems utilizing basic test equipment.

\xc2\xb7 Assists customers during new equipment start-ups.

What We Need From You

\xc2\xb7 Associates degree in a related field, at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of pumps, valves and fluid process equipment preferred

\xc2\xb7 Familiar with NEC regulations, UL 508A a plus

\xc2\xb7 Understands the interaction between the various parts of a system such as fluid power, mechanical, electrical/electronic and the interfacing required for operation

\xc2\xb7 Positive, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image

\xc2\xb7 Ability to handle a varied and fast-paced workload to meet customer requirements for projects

\xc2\xb7 Well-organized and self-directed team player

\xc2\xb7 Valid driver\'s license

\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
