job summary:
Extremely stable environment: Electrical Technician sought at a medium-sized plant, part of a very large company that has never had a layoff in company history. Looking for someone with an eye to the future and who wants career growth. You should have a strong understanding of electrical basics. Experience with industrial automation (PLCs etc) desired but a solid electrical background and a desire to learn will work as well. responsibilities:

• Assist with preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment

• Participate in all reactive maintenance efforts - troubleshooting and repair

• Work with industrial automation, including PLCs

• Troubleshoot and program robotic equipment / robots

• Assist with power distribution as needed

requirements:

• Experience with industrial automation desired (PLCs, VFDs, robots, etc)

• Experience with electrical industrial maintenance

• Must have a strong understanding of electrical basis and troubleshooting

• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in an attractive schedule (4-day weekend every other weekend, 8-day off stretch every 6 weeks)
