Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors.You would be responsible to administer, manage and direct the operation of the EMS program.What Would You Do:EMS Marketing and Growth ProgramEMS Medical Authorization process and programEMS Quality and Risk Management programsDevelopment of and provision of appropriate EMS education for EMS and hospital personnelRepresent the Hospital on activities involving EMS and pre-hospital careSupervises, coaches & mentors assigned professional EMS staff assigned to department to ensure the quality of workManages the ACLS and PALS certification program for all Saint Mary\'s Hospital physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and paramedics who are required to maintain certification.\xc2\xb7
Administration and LeadershipDevelops, updates, and maintains Policy and Procedures for the EMS program according to hospital, regulatory and professional requirementsServes as hospital Liaison Officer on emergency operations command staffParticipates in emergency preparedness drills and public health outbreaks or casualties.Establishes and maintains a peer network of emergency services professionals involved with emergency preparedness.Assesses the needs of pre-hospital providers and personnel and develops policies, procedures pertaining to pre-hospital careServes as an expert source of information for EMS and community customers.Provides guidance and consulting on EMS system and service operational issuesDevelops hospital response process for EMS communicable disease exposures consistent with State and Federal laws. Serves as state mandated Hospital Designated Contact for the EMS providers.Innovates and constantly seeks opportunities for improvement in all processes involving EMS.Hours: Full-time 40 hours, Day ShiftMinimum Requirements:
