Summary of Job Duties: Summary of Job Duties:
Provide classroom instruction and supervision of students on an as needed basis within areas that could include the classroom, laboratory, clinical and field agencies under supervision of the program director and/or faculty.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Current EMSP license in the State of Arkansas, with National Registry of EMTs certification or eligible.
  • Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Arkansas EMSP instructor license or eligible
  • American Heart Association BLS instructor
  • Teaching experience
General Responsibilities:
  • Create an environment in the classroom, lab, and practicum that promotes student learning
  • Use appropriate evaluation and measurement techniques regarding teaching effectiveness and student performance
  • Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently toward meeting course objectives
  • Serve as a role model for students and peers
  • Remain current with trends in EMS and EMS education
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Availability could be mixed between daytime, evenings and weekends
