Our company\xe2\x80\x99s measurable growth is in no small part due to our team members in North Carolina, Arkansas, Illinois, and Missouri, who each have a seat at the table to contribute to our successThe Occupational Health Services Emergency Medical Technician provides onsite promotion and restoration of health and the prevention/treatment of illness and injury.Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Interacts positively and professionally with applicants, employees and leaders pertaining to OHS services and functions.\xc2\xb7 Promote safety and health to all associates with education, information, and example.\xc2\xb7 Provide medical care and first aid in accordance with Protocols and Standing Orders within the scope of practice for licensure.\xc2\xb7 Provide health appropriate evaluations and treatment for work and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.\xc2\xb7 Perform drug and alcohol testing per policy.\xc2\xb7 Assist with case management strategies for work related injuries and illnesses.\xc2\xb7 Participate in Incident investigations as necessary.\xc2\xb7 Serves as liaison with medical claims adjusters, medical providers, and/or counsel for workers\xe2\x80\x99 compensation.\xc2\xb7 Maintains accurate documentation and assists in departmental medical records upkeep.\xc2\xb7 Serve as part of the on-call weekend/holiday rotation for OHS.\xc2\xb7 Participate in Safety, Health Services, and Human Resources projects within the facility.Additional Responsibilities:Other duties and projects as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\xc2\xb7 Ability to accurately, efficiently, and timely execute tasks.\xc2\xb7 Ability to use sound judgment and discretion while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal, teamwork and relationship management skills.\xc2\xb7 Energetic, reliable, and resourceful; exhibit initiative and creativity.\xc2\xb7 Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs.\xc2\xb7 Able to use independent thinking with medical knowledge and legal limitations to make appropriate decisions and recommendations.\xc2\xb7 Proficient with various MS applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook\xc2\xb7 Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with management, front-line leaders, and employees.\xc2\xb7 Occasional time in the processing/ production area.\xc2\xb7 Ability to function in a fast paced/ changing environment with multiple demands at one time.\xc2\xb7 Detail oriented and organized.\xc2\xb7 Effective time management and prioritization skillsEducation & Experience:\xc2\xb7 Current NC Emergency Medical Technician certification\xc2\xb7 Current certification in First Aid, CPR and AED required.\xc2\xb7 1 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in health care preferred.\xc2\xb7 Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Butterball, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to the fair and impartial treatment of all employees and applicants for employment without regard to gender, age, race, religion, color, national origin, physical or mental disability, military/veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, genetic information, marital status, parental status, pregnancy, or any other status protected by law.Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteran.
