OVERVIEW

:

Join SALA Medical as an EMT in Anchorage! Make a difference by providing emergency care and support to individuals affected by substance use. Work with a team to transport and monitor clients, ensuring compassionate and effective service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Provide medical care in the field and the Anchorage Safety Center. Transport clients safely and respectfully. Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment. Use de-escalation techniques and document accurately. Participate in training and team activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EMT Certification (EMT I or higher). Strong communication skills and compassion for clients. Basic computer skills and ability to handle stress. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with substance use and mental health issues. Training in de-escalation and CPR/First Aid.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Capable of physical tasks and working in various conditions. Pass drug screen and background check.
