Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Lead Endoscopy Technician who will provide direct patient care and observation in an ambulatory setting while acting as a preceptor for all other Endoscopy Technicians. You will be assisting with the care of patients undergoing Endoscopy procedures.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Assist with Endoscopy Scheduling
• You will demonstrate knowledge related to the maintenance, cleanliness, and sterilization of instruments and equipment
• You will maintain a sanitary environment for the provision of patient care
• You will prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure the availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies
• Assist the physician with interventions as indicated
• Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case
• You will demonstrate appropriate aseptic techniques

Qualification you will need:

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
• 1 year experience in an acute setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center

• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment, online certification not acceptable
