Demonstrate and applies technical expertise in the area of demand side management programs. Maintains a working relationship with the local state coordinators to support their efforts in the field. Tasked with becoming the in-house lead with the data management system of record and running various state reports on a regular basis.

PAY RANGE: $62,150 - 93,300 (Determined by the knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.)

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Manager of Energy Efficiency

LOCATION: Grimes, IA

  • Relocation financial assistance is available, amount may vary based on individual circumstances.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Demonstrate and utilize knowledge of energy efficiency and Demand Side Management programs.
  • Maintain, manage and update: (a) toll free communication telephone line for all DSM programs (b) internet website for DSM (c) intranet website for DSM programs, (d) internal communications on energy efficiency programs.
  • Provide support to other coordinators, run reports, manage electronic data, coordinate quarterly contractor meetings, liaison with AP regarding rebate checks, AP exception report responsibilities, pull state data for status report development.
  • Ensure required advertising and marketing materials for the demand side management programs are available for all states, inventory control and print orders.
  • Support customers requesting information about demand side management and energy efficiency programs.
  • Assist State Program Managers/ Coordinators; EE Manager with day to support of the DSM programs.
  • Manage or play a key role in managing special projects.
  • Ability to troubleshoot customer issues and make good business decisions related to customer issues.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of (1) one year of energy efficiency, marketing, sales, or utility experience required.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Ability to develop, administer and evaluate program and product designs.
  • Knowledge of program/program marketing and sales administration.
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial/industrial natural gas end use technologies.
  • Highly skilled in residential and commercial/industrial natural gas end uses.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, as well as an excellent collaborator, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to apply a cost/benefit and prioritization approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work a variety of hours to accommodate public presentations or to meet customer needs.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft office products.
  • Must be able to work independently with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and customer relations experience.
