Energy Service Technician - Class A or Class B CDL Essential Responsibilities:ALCIVIA is looking for an Energy Service Technician to install propane tanks and parts to residential, commercial, and agricultural members while providing routine maintenance, regulator upgrades, and leak checks. In this position, you will be working with a team of Energy Service Technicians to cover the local service area. This position comes with a company Service Body Truck (Class B CDL required) as this position does involve daily local routes for on-site service.

• Provide outstanding and courteous customer service to build strong, positive customer relationships
• Perform propane and equipment installation, repair and delivery work as required by local, state, and federal regulations
• Install and switch out propane tanks
• Digging in gas lines
• Perform propane regulator upgrades
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and propane lines
• Safety inspections of public and commercial buildings to maintain policy and regulatory standards
• Maintain zero preventable accidents
• Coordinate and communicate routes with scheduler and manager to assure jobs are completed timely
• Accurately record and maintain required documentation
• Assist in maintaining delivery and customer records
• Ensure all daily paperwork is completed
• Help market and sell ALCIVIA product
• Maintain the service vehicle which includes reviewing the maintenance record, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting all vehicle conditions requiring attention for continued safe operation and proper vehicle maintenance
• Assure security of truck contents by locking truck cab and cargo doors when not in use
• Fill in as Energy Delivery Driver (Bobtail truck) as demand warrants in a safe and efficient manner
• Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible
• Help out in other areas of the business as bandwidth allows
• Other duties as assigned

RequirementsEnergy Service Technician - Class A or Class B CDL Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED is required
• Class A CDL or Class B CDL is required
• Clean driving record is required
• Tanker and Hazmat required (will help obtain)
• Excellent customer service
• Some computer and technology skills
• Good written and verbal and communication
• Self-directed and focuses on taking action
• Ability to identify objectives and recommend the best solutions
• Accept responsibility while maintaining integrity
• Strong organization and time management
• Positive attitude and approach to problem solving
• Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 75lbs. at any given time
• Work in outdoor conditions
• Safety first mindset
