job summary:
Engineering Manager based near Huntersville, NC for a leading manufacturer of custom electric heating equipment. This role is responsible to oversee an engineering team responsible for completing designs for manufacturing. To be considered - B.S Degree in Engineering discipline with at least (3) years of engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire opportunity. Required Qualifications:

• B.S Degree in Engineering discipline

• Must have at least (3) years of engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing environment

• AutoCAD or Solidworks experience

responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and managing the design engineering team responsible to provide designs and high quality products and systems for the glass and ceramics industries, molten metals, and minerals

• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making so that the engineering strategy is aligned

• Oversee the engineering budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and maintain professional standards

• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop professional engineering staff to ensure the quality, validity, and credibility of the organization\'s activities.

• Managing production change/improvement requests and implementing changes
