However, this schedule represents the minimum time expected for the job. Work hours may vary as needed to carry out city-wide essential services associated with Engineering & Public Works. You will respond to calls for assistance on a 24/7 basis and will often need to respond to calls received outside of normal working hours. Your office will be located in downtown Juneau in the Marine View Building on the 3rd floor. It is likely, however, the EPW offices will move in approximately a year.DESCRIPTION OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGJoin our team in Juneau as a Deputy Director of Engineering & Public Works, where you will play a pivotal role in directing the comprehensive management of programs and projects for CIP Engineering, General Engineering, and Architecture. In this key position, you will maintain fiscal control of funds and budgets, supervise and mentor division managers, and cultivate strong working relationships with the Assembly, City & Borough of Juneau staff, clients, and other agencies.
