The Engineering Training Coordinator will develop, schedule, and monitor training development activities and learning management systems administration. #LI-EH1Major Responsibilities:
Facilitate the implementation of training requirements, documentation, and processes that support engineering and operations.
Support the Engineering Training Manager in defining and developing the scope of work for training development and administration.
Utilize tracking tools to establish training deadlines, schedules, and forecasts.
Monitor performance data and develop metrics, perform complex analysis, monitor trends, and develop corrective action plans.
Support corrective action management responsibilities, ensuring appropriate action plans are created, closure statements are adequate, and resolutions are effective.
Develop and maintain a continuing training program for managers and supervisors to provide them with skills to manage the workforce effectively.
Arranges for technical assistance as required.
Support requirement area managers to establish implementing processes and training to meet their requirements and/or performance gaps.
Develop, coordinate, schedule, and facilitate Project Training presentations to project and/or Customer personnel.
Interface with project and customer assessors during surveillances, audits and readiness assessments.
Perform training assessments on all aspects of the training development and implementation.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor\'s degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of progressively responsible training experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site. (Even if teleworking, must still be able to comply with security requirements to obtain a badge).
Must possess the right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Broad knowledge of training approaches and models that support development (SAT, ADDIE, etc.).
Highly-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks with self-awareness of when to ask for help and/or flag training issues/ambiguities.
Intermediate knowledge and understanding of learning management systems.
Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate in a team environment with the ability to work with personnel at all levels with varied backgrounds.
Flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and/or changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to plan and complete assigned work within agreed upon deadlines.
Ability to complete complex assignments on time with a high degree of self-discipline and attention to the highest quality levels.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures and other supporting documents.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products, particularly with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Familiar with Bechtel\'s processes, documentation, and organizational structure.
Understanding of Bechtel\'s internal certification programs and learning management system.
Working understanding of project phases and organizations that support the project.
Demonstrated experience at instructing a wide range of topics including facility operations and systems training, OSHA, environmental and safety basis training
