Engineer II - $4,690 to $5,713 per month (SR-20, Step D to I, Salary includes Shortage Category Differential)

Engineer III - $5,076 to $6,177 per month (SR-22, Step D to I, Salary includes Shortage Category Differential)

Note: Hiring rates will be based on availability of funds, the applicant\'s qualifications, and other relevant factors.

Duties Summary

The Engineer II performs specific and limited professional engineering assignments requiring application of standard professional methods and techniques, which may involve minor phases of a broad project; and performs other related duties as assigned.

The Engineer III performs moderately difficult professional engineering work in the planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation and/or evaluation of engineering projects or facilities or assists higher-level engineers on more complex projects; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Applicants will be placed on the eligible list for ALL level for which they are qualified.

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Basic Education: A bachelor\'s degree from a school of engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. Relevant substitutions as described in the complete Minimum Qualification Requirements (see link below), will apply.

Engineering Experience: One (1) to Two (2) years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience which required the knowledge and application of the basic physical and mathematical sciences and the engineering sciences to the solution of theoretical or practical engineering problems.

Driver\'s License: A valid driver\'s license is required for some positions. For these positions, applicants must possess a valid driver\'s license at the time of appointment.
