:

Education:

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study or equivalent years of experience
Work Experiences:
  • 10+ years Enterprise Architecture management experience, including experience with the following areas:
  • Technically proficient with IBM Rational Software Architect, UML 2.x structural modeling, and UML metamodeling
  • Roadmapping and governance of full solution stack: from high-level business function to low-level hardware devices
  • Enterprise integration patterns leveraging IBM middleware including IBM MessageBroker and IBM DataStage
  • Up-to-date knowledge of information security best practices and PCI requirements
  • Technically proficient in database replication technologies including Oracle DataGuard, IBM CDC and Dell Shareplex
  • Technically proficient with multiple operating system environments including IBM pSeries/AIX, SuSe Linux, RHEL/CentOS, and Microsoft Windows Server
  • Technically proficient with multiple development technologies including Java and bash-style scripting
  • Technically proficient with multiple service platforms including: Lotus Domino, ServiceNow, and IBM BlueMix
  • Technically proficient in SAN/NAS storage systems
  • Technically proficient with corporate-scale LAN/WAN networking and data architectures
  • Technically proficient with major cloud IaaS providers including AWS, GCP, and Azure
Skills:

  • Communicate effectively to senior management, business stakeholders, and peer groups; understand the appropriate level of detail to communicate to a given audience

  • Confluent/Kafka knowledge preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel and Word
  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
Responsibilities:
  • Assign, schedule and manage the duties of the IT Architecture team
  • Establish governance around business architecture, information architecture, infrastructure architecture, and application architecture
  • Responsible for artifact management, program modeling, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Plan annual capital and operational budgets
  • Schedule and manage the projects assigned to the IT Architecture team
  • Development of talent management roadmap for senior management team
  • Participate as a knowledge expert in enterprise-level architectural decisions
  • Oversee the design of technology infrastructure, hardware, software and office systems support and distribution, systems performance management and technology integration functions.
  • Plan and execute replication and DR activities that pertain to database systems
  • Forecasting and planning of capacity and performance upgrades
  • Keep abreast of IT industry trends and developments to help identify potential new technologies for the improvement of Academy\xe2\x80\x99s systems infrastructure
  • Manage priorities and handle concurrent projects
  • Lead a cross-functional team through priority 1 issues when they arise
  • Develop talent management roadmaps that attract and retain top talent and are aligned with the team\xe2\x80\x99s strategic priorities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Academy\xe2\x80\x99s policies, procedures and safety rules
  • Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
