Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our dynamic team. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of mortgage loan applications from initial submission to closing. Your primary responsibility will be to review and validate all necessary documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. You will collaborate closely with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to facilitate a seamless and timely loan approval process. This position does not feature commission, opportunities for commission positions within company possible after 1-2 years.

Responsibilities:

Application Review: Thoroughly review mortgage loan applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Documentation Verification: Verify all necessary documents, such as income statements, tax returns, credit reports, and property appraisals, to support the loan application.

Customer Communication: Act as a point of contact for borrowers, loan officers, and other stakeholders to obtain missing information, clarify requirements, and provide updates on the loan application status.

Data Entry: Accurately enter application information and loan details into the loan processing software or system to maintain accurate records and track progress.

Compliance Assurance: Ensure all loan files meet regulatory standards, including TRID, RESPA, and other applicable lending regulations.

Collaboration: Collaborate with loan underwriters to address any outstanding issues or additional documentation needed to facilitate loan approval.
