Gelato Associate and Coffee Server! Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers Skills:
- Retail math: Ability to handle cash transactions, calculate totals, and provide accurate change
- Time management: Efficiently prioritize tasks and manage time to ensure prompt service
- Coffee: Knowledge of different types of coffee and ability to prepare various coffee-based beverages
- Food preparation: Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and ability to assist in food prep when necessary
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards
- Food industry: Familiarity with the operations and standards of the food service industry
- Cash handling: Experience handling cash transactions, including counting money, providing change, and maintaining cash register accuracy
- Food service: Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide friendly and attentive service to customers
- Math: Basic math skills for calculating totals, providing change, and managing cash transactions accurately
