Parsons is seeking a candidate with an interest in environmental projects and the ability to communicate. Ready to put your skills to work on Technical and environmental projects? Are you great with people and have willingness to work hard to get the job done?

What you\'ll be doing:

  • Perform a variety of office tasks pertinent to the assigned projects.
  • Such tasks will primarily include coordination of asbestos and lead assessments and abatement projects of varying scope and complexity.
  • Other office activities may include: preparing and/or reviewing technical reports, data entry and providing technical guidance to vendors and clients.
  • Some assignments involve the use of computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, databases, etc.).
  • In addition to working in the office, there may be occasional opportunities to assist with field activities such as subsurface investigations (groundwater and soil sampling) and/or industrial hygiene monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Performs various office tasks requiring the application of basic scientific principles and environmental regulations. Reviews and analyzes data collected by vendors. Researches and compiles background data in support of environmental projects. Coordinates asbestos/lead projects, including review of final vendor submissions for accuracy and to ensure compliance with regulations and client needs. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma, or equivalent, typically 2+ years of related work experience
  • Good communications skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Suite

Salary Range: $14.23 - $24.13
