Join us.AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Environmental Scientist for employment in the Honolulu, Hawaii office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. • Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
• Collects and enters data, and applies technical principles and theories.
• Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
• Entry-level position; may not require previous experience.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, and Geology.
• Valid U.S. Driverxe2x80x99s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
• As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
• Ability to successfully obtain a DBIDs pass to gain access to any required federal military installation site locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masterxe2x80x99s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
• Relevant years of work experience.
• Experience military emergency response and environmental projects
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and preparing technical reports.
• Experience using ArcGIS and generating maps and report figures.
• Excellent skills in written and spoken communication (including polished client presentation skills), organization, time management.
• Ability to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors.
