POSITION OVERVIEW:

Clean all hallway floors in Hospital, PACU, OBS, Operating Room, Inpatient department, waiting room, OR break room. Sweep and mop under shelving and nurses\' station if required. Clean floors around nurses\' stations, hand mop if needed. Make sure that corners of floors are clean. Mop elevator floors daily. Dust mop all floors before using floor machine and clean up dirt piles from dust mopping daily. All floor mats must be vacuumed and replaced in correct location after cleaning floors. Take out trash and cardboard from hospital at the beginning of and end of each shift. Includes Inpatient and OR areas.

Clean kitchen and dining room floors, empty out trash and replace bags in dining room. Clean OR break room floors and floors in break rooms. Clean locker rooms to include dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. Complete assigned task list when scheduled: wax floors strip floors, carpet cleaning, buff floors, other related tasks as assigned. Maintain and clean all equipment daily. Use mops, dust mops, operate floor machine, floor stripper, buffer, carpet cleaner, floor sweeper, and vacuum cleaner. Place order with manager for supplies when needed to accomplish daily tasks. Will also learn housekeeping tasks to help when short staffed.

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year of related experience, required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Usage and maintenance of floor care experience.
