job summary:
We have a direct hire opportunity for a Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience. This position will sit onsite for the first 2-3 months and then allow for a couple remote days per week.

Below are the required skills/background:

  • Requires a Bachelor\'s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work relative to the field of assignment.
  • Requires two or more years of project management experience.
  • Experience Prefer prior experience managing vendors and technologies.
  • Prefer enterprise project management experience.
  • Must have an excellent understanding of Quality Control/Assurance and be familiar with regulatory requirements.
  • Must have an understanding of fundamental project management methods and tools.
  • Must have an understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and the five processes that define a managed project.
  • Must be professional, organized, detail oriented, communicative, and have the ability to greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Must be results oriented, self-starter, self-motivated, a focus on goals, a sense of urgency and creative/ innovative/ forward thinking skills.
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate assertiveness, leadership, problem-solving skills and team-building.

responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and lead various types of meetings and presentations.
  • Manage multiple small to large scale projects in accordance with the Project Management department\'s methodology.
  • Identify clearly the project\'s scope, business requirements, approach, stakeholders, schedule, risks, acceptance criteria, and other pertinent guiding information.
  • Form and lead core teams of cross-functional/cross-subsidiary subject matter experts, build accurate project schedules, track tasks, and report on project progress until the product, service, and/or capability is tested and launched.
  • Integrate all aspects of the project, ensure that the proper knowledge and resources are available when and where needed and ensure that the expected results are produced in a timely, cost-effective manner.
  • Escalate significant issues identified by project teams.
  • Perform timely and accurate project status reporting to all project stakeholders.
  • Maintain a repository of all project-related documents for use throughout the project.
  • Perform ongoing coordination with client organizations.
  • Assist in the development of standard Project Management methodologies based on PMBOK standards with regards to project initiation, planning, execution, control and closure.
  • Perform tight management of the triple-constraint (scope, time, and cost) while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, costs, resources, and quality.
  • Manage project risks by performing risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation activities.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and processes, as needed.
  • Create process flow charts, reports, presentations, and other various types of analysis documentation as needed.
  • Assist with the development of Statements of Work (SOWs), soliciting involvement and participation of project stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Attend meetings, seminars, and other events, as required.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with management of all departments.
  • Provide coaching, facilitation, and team development in order to foster buy-in and organizational change management initiatives.
  • Apply and measure department strategic goals to his/her own workload, whenever applicable.
  • Manage vendor relationships for projects that require an outside vendor.
  • Keep project management knowledge and skills current.
  • Provide various project management consulting services internally.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
