If this sounds like what you are looking for, we\'d love to hear from you!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Passionate People:Provide excellent customer service during programming events to elevate the Woodward experience.Be a team player and willing to support all departments throughout the season (programming, maintenance, food & beverage, hospitality, and general & administrative).Dynamic Programming:Run action sports clinics to create a fun and safe environment for guests to progress their skills.Zone Coach coverage for designated skateparks assigned during eventSupport hydration, front gate operations, parking, trash disposal, security, and provide an excellent guest experience.Provide general help to other depts with tasks such as, prepare rooms for rental use, set up event registration, assist at the lodge\'s front desk, conduct supply and catering runs, conduct transportation runs for camp operation needs, give facility tours, Food and beverage operational tasks, assist in guest check-ins, and other duties as assigned.Innovative Environments:Participate in camp improvement projects, construction efforts, and summer camp recovery/preparation.Implement gym and action facility shutdowns, including deep cleaning, inventory management, equipment repair, storage organization, and assisting with related tasks across various sectors such as canteen, cafeteria, retail shop, recreation, and maintenance.Prepare outdoor facilities for storage and winter, encompassing tasks like storing umbrellas and furniture, tarping dirt facilities, storing big flower planters, and sealing concrete and sliding doors.Conduct deep cleaning, repairing equipment, maintaining skatelite and concrete flat bottoms, painting raw wood areas, and preparing coping and kickplates for a new layer of paint.Complete safety checks of facilities, tightening and fixing Resi Landings, cleaning windows, removing dust and debris, and creating observation areas for off-season events.Conduct weekly park cleanings and safety checks, deep cleaning foam pits, fix moveable objects, and making the necessary indoor arrangements for winter use.Pressure wash skateparks and buildings, arrange umbrellas and outdoor furniture, prepare dirt facilities, paint coping, kick plates, and outdoor parks, maintain ramps, landscape around facilities, cover graffiti, deep clean indoor action facilities, and assist in the setup of recreation and retail facilities.Play Safe:Conduct daily safety checks before starting work to ensure you have the right training/knowledge, safety tools, and resources to accomplish tasks within your ability while always prioritizing safety for yourself and everyone else on camp.Proactively communicate safety needs/concerns ahead of time to allow department leadership to provide resources in a timely manner and keep projects on the planned timeline.Follow camp vehicle and golf cart usage for assigned tasks, ensuring safe operation, and adhering to camp vehicle policies.Support camp safety by adhering to visitor, housing, and facility use/riding policies.BASIC REQUIREMENTS:As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines for housing, visitor, facility, and vehicle use.SCHEDULINGAbility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings throughout the season.Operations Attendants will work part-time hours, with the work schedule being communicated by the Program Managers.There are general operations schedules along with non-standard schedules for community events and special events.BASIC REQUIREMENTS:Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines for housing, visitor, facility, and vehicle use.Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.SCHEDULINGAbility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings throughout the season.Operations Attendants will work part-time hours, with the work schedule being communicated by the Program Managers.There are general operations schedules along with non-standard schedules for community events and special events.Time off requests should be communicated with the Program Managers at least 2 weeks in advanceYou make us Woodward.
