Executive Assistant to the CEO GCSAA is seeking a proactive, polished individual to provide high-level, executive administrative support to the CEO to manage his calendar, schedule meetings, prioritize and respond to inquiries and serve as the primary contact for internal and external constituencies in a fast-paced environment. Assistant will execute all travel logistics for the CEO and COO, work with other Senior Executives, Department Leaders, Allied Organizations and other VIPs/key stakeholders. Position will manage all elements of the development and production of Board materials. Assistant will handle all communications and logistics for VIPs and Past Presidents, to ensure a successful annual GCSAA Conference and Trade Show. Assistant will create agendas and outcomes for Senior Leader, Department Leader and All Staff meetings, as well as travel to four (4) Board meetings per year.
Qualified candidates possess:
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to ask clarifying questions and work with senior management.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders including staff, board members, past presidents, and allied organizations.
Strong project and time management skills, flexible and adaptable to change.
Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround \xe2\x80\x93 this may include instances that are outside traditional work hours in support of the CEO or Executive Leadership
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Keynote, Excel in an iOS (Apple/Mac) environment
Must have a minimum of three years professional office experience; preferably in an administrative or meeting planning capacity
High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience; Associates degree a plus
Ability to travel to GCSAA Conference and Trade Show (annually)
Ability to travel to Board Meetings (quarterly)
Experience and basic knowledge of Apple products (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
Position will work from our headquarters office in Lawrence, KS
