1PointFive, a subsidiary of Occidental, a publicly traded company, is the leading, industrial-scale Direct Air Capture (DAC), point-source capture, and sequestration business with a mission to curb global temperature rise to 1.5\xc2\xb0C by 2050. 1PointFive plans to commercialize Carbon Engineering\xe2\x80\x99s DAC and AIR TO FUELS\xe2\x84\xa2 solutions\xe2\x80\x94in conjunction with carbon sequestration hubs. 1PointFive will own and operate DAC and AIR TO FUELS\xe2\x84\xa2 facilities, and Sequestration Hubs and provide a pathway to large-scale global decarbonization.
We are looking for a skilled Account Executive, specialized in Technology, to join a newly established carbon sales and marketing team. The Account Executive will act as the lead in negotiation of offtake agreements for carbon removal credits and low carbon fuels with our customers and manage the customer relationships over the life of the contract. You will work closely with the rest of the sales & marketing team to convert leads into long-term customer relationships. The individual in this role will need to have a strategic mindset and understanding of the overall business, marketplace, and our relative position. The Account Executive will need to establish relationships with the 1PointFive organization to support the ability to build business cases to support customer needs while ensuring financial performance through astute product pricing modeling. The Account Executive will be required to generate leads and work the entire deal generation process from fortune 500 companies preferably in the Venture Capital and IT High-Tech sectors working deals in excess of 100 million dollars.

\xc2\xb7 Shape 1PointFive\xe2\x80\x99s 3\xe2\x80\x935-year Technology growth strategy in the emerging DAC industry in addition to achieving quota
\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain long-term relationships with senior-level executives across all business functions through external engagement
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate closely with senior clients to understand their sustainability and carbon removal goals.
\xc2\xb7 Create customized sales plans and pitches to showcase 1PointFive\xe2\x80\x99s value proposition, guide clients to achieve their goals, and overcome potential objections.
\xc2\xb7 Act as a thought leader including speaking at events and publishing content to shape the carbon removals space and influence how Tech adopts DAC as an integral part of achieving sustainability goals
\xc2\xb7 Leverage industry executive network to introduce 1PointFive\xe2\x80\x99s offerings to key stakeholders and decisionmakers
\xc2\xb7 Work closely with internal teams, including technical and marketing, to refine sales approach
\xc2\xb7 Provide ongoing account management to existing clients
