Hopkinsville Aggregates - Rogers Group Inc - Hopkinsville, KYFull Time2nd Shift - approximate shift times of 3 p.m. - 1 a.m.Wages will start at $20.00/hr. Pay will be determined based on candidate\'s overall experience and skill set.Rogers Group Inc. is seeking to fill a 2nd shift (3pm-1am) MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / EXPERIENCED WELDER opening for our quarry operation located in HOPKINSVILLE, KENTUCKY. • Routine Equipment/Plant Maintenance
• Operating Production Equipment
• Involved with Plant Improvement Projects
• Inspect and perform daily maintenance on plant
• Inspect and perform repairs as needed for plant
• Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors and screen for plant
• Splice belts
• Other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills:

• Must have a dedication to safe work practices
• Previous industrial and conveyor maintenance experience preferred, but not required
• 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience
• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and a 3pm - 1am shift
• Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Preferred Skills:

• Plant maintenance and utility experience, preferably in a quarry environment
• Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
• Experience operating heavy equipment
