Experienced Pharmacy Technician

Job Description


Job Title: Pharmacy Technician- High School Diploma or equivalent and Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is required (within 6 months after starting). - Must be comfortable on the phones and have previous delivery coordination and claims/billing experience. - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of hospital personnel. - Perform basic office environment tasks. - Maintain proficiency in all Pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing cabinet software and systems, and all technical equipment required to perform duties. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Internet. - Recognize common drug names, and select proper drug, dosage form, strength, and quantity for review by the Pharmacist. - Coordinate deliveries and pickups via phone throughout the work period. - Provide timely communication to the Pharmacist for checking and general activities including proper customer service, patient/employee safety, operational/schedule needs, and inventory control.Hard Skills
