job summary:
An Expert Project Engineer is needed for the world\'s largest food and beverage company in the Hartwell, GA area. This position will identify continuous improvement opportunities with regards to metering, monitoring, and design to be replicated across the site and across new design.

responsibilities:

• Waste and Water Reduction Focused Engineer (Primary Waste).

• Work with Factory Operations, Corporate Engineering, and Local Engineering to map waste throughout the factory and prioritize capital and non-capital improvements to reduce water usage (influent and effluent).

• Justify investment through identification of reduction opportunities by area.

• Identify continuous improvement opportunities with regards to metering, monitoring, and design to be replicated across the site and across new design.

• Coordinate changes to the factory process through change control, downtime planning, and partnership with factory operations.

• Support Wastewater Expansion Efforts along with waste and water tracking associated with new project initiatives.

• Support local staff with obtaining ISO 14001 certification.

• Identify and present energy reduction opportunities to the local management team.

• Assist with inspecting BMP\'s during groundbreaking activities and report any deficiencies to the local Engineering Team and or contractors.
