We are seeking a skilled

Fabricator

to join our dynamic team a

t Gaul Granite & Marble

. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the production of granite countertops and stone surfaces. Your attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship will contribute to the creation of beautiful and durable countertops that enhance the beauty of our clients' homes and businesses.


We are actively seeking candidates on the island of Hawai'i, preferably on the Hilo side, but we are also open to considering applicants who are willing to commute to our Kea'au Shipman location or willing to relocate to the Big Island.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate granite countertops and stone surfaces according to detailed specifications and measurements. Operate and maintain various fabrication machinery and tools, including saws, polishers, and routers. Safely handle and move heavy granite slabs and stones. Ensure the quality and accuracy of the finished products, including edge profiling and polishing. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in inventory management and quality control processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in granite countertop fabrication or similar stone fabrication work. Proficiency in operating fabrication equipment and tools. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and interpret drawings, measurements, and templates. Physical strength and ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs). Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Benefits & Pay:
