Robert Half is seeking candidates who have a strong business savvy, flexible thinking and the ability to make critical decisions for a family office Controller position at a reputable company. The Controller will be in charge of all business accounting and quarterly/year-end financial reporting, corporate business taxes, human resources and accounting for the client\'s production companies. The Controller will also handle all aspects of investments and reporting, individual family taxes, cash flow management, manage multiple real estate properties, and various directives from the owner. Major responsibilities

- Utilize well-rounded business experience to make critical decisions

- Assess deliverables to verify they meet client expectations

- Responsible all Accounting facets of Multiple Corporate Enterprises

- Comfortable in taking on tasks beyond formal job responsibilities

- Handle non-compliance business needs of client

Requirements

- Great attention to detail

- Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

- Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Comfortable working in a small family-office environment

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

- Financial reporting experience preferred

- Corporate Tax Compliance experience

- Proficiency in Business Activity Monitoring

- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
