Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and landscaping, with experience in maintaining gardens and landscapes. This role involves various gardening tasks, including planting, watering, and caring for plants, ensuring that outdoor spaces are healthy and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various gardening tasks. Assist in the planting and growing of flowers, shrubs, and trees in designated areas. Manage greenhouse operations including planting seeds, watering plants, and monitoring growth conditions. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of gardens and landscapes. Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, pruning, and mulching. Collaborate with team members to design and enhance garden layouts. Monitor plant health and identify any pest or disease issues for timely intervention.

Skills

Proficiency in lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices. Familiarity with power tools used in gardening and landscaping tasks. Experience working on a farm or in a greenhouse setting is advantageous. Knowledge of growing techniques for various plants and flowers. Ability to effectively irrigate gardens using appropriate methods. Strong understanding of hand tools used in gardening activities. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high-quality garden aesthetics. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in outdoor environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
