You are:

A Information Technology Auditor Specialist: you will conduct a wide-ranging scope of audits with an emphasis on assessing emerging areas of risk including cyber security, and other audits related to complex IT areas (e.g., network security, tech infrastructure, vulnerability management, etc.). Also, through advisory services, work with our business partners to help them proactively identify and manage risk in new technologies, new go-to-market offerings, and critical corporate initiatives.

The work:

  • Assessing and testing IT/Cyber Controls over corporate assets, including Cloud security, network and devices, identity and access controls, configuration management, Data privacy and security, disaster recovery, vulnerability and patch management, operating systems security, Database controls, Application security and input/output controls, secure system development etc.
  • Act as In-Charge and handle the overall completion of the individual audits when assigned.
  • Plan audits in coordination with the Senior Manager when assigned In-Charge responsibilities in new or more complex areas to determine the appropriate scope for reviews based on risk assessment.
  • Perform work paper documentation and assist in report issuance and closeout of audits with minimal management oversight.
  • Drafts audit issues in accordance with departmental guidelines with appropriate assessment of root causes.
  • When engagements do not require In-Charge-level responsibilities, the Specialist is responsible for:
o Performing the detailed execution and communication of specific elements of the risk-based work plan, including AFS Federal Services (AFS) management and AFS Audit Committee special project requests.

o Preparation of work papers, supporting schedules, and report drafts in a timely and high-quality manner.

o Managing auditees relationships, including facilitating all meetings, discussions of issues, and presentation of draft reports in a professional and high-quality manner.

o Provide information and supporting documentation to the Internal Audit management as input for internal audit recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships related to the risk areas assigned.
  • As appropriate, identify and recommend improvements to internal audit processes/controls.
Here\'s what you need:
  • Undergraduate Degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computers Science or Engineering, or Finance/Accounting with a minor in MIS.
  • Must have at least one of the following: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM or other related IT and security certifications.
  • 3+ years of experience within an IT audit or compliance function including cybersecurity auditing and experience in CMMC, FedRamp, or other industry best practices such as NIST, COBIT etc.
The Extras:
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Big 4 audit experience preferred.
  • Recent experience in Federal or government contracting practice area preferred.
Important Information:

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and

California: $73,400-$136,200

Colorado: $73,400-$117,600

Connecticut: $73,400-$117,600

Nevada: $78,200-$125,200

New York City: $85,000-$136,200

Rhode Island: $78,200-$125,200

Washington: $58,500-$97,600
