The School of Art + Art History in the College of the Arts seeks a student assistant to be a computer lab monitor. The successful candidate will be attentive to lab users, has experience with providing customer service, and able to work 10-15 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory of video equipment on lend to students , including assessing the condition of returned equipment.
  • Oversee and attend to lab and lab users for proper use of equipment.
  • Provide technical assistance with printing and simple computer problems. For more advanced problems, the monitor may request assistance from the Teaching Lab Specialist.
  • Maintain cleanliness of computer lab by providing surface cleaning at end of shift .

Expected Salary:

$11/hour
Minimum Requirements:
  • Be able to work nights & weekends . 5-hour shifts are preferred. Monday to Friday 9 AM - 6 PM preferred. Evening and weekend shifts possible.
