About This RoleThe post doc will work in theoretical ultrafast atomic, molecular and optical (AMO) physics and gain experience in computational molecular physics/chemistry and method development.About UsThe Kansas State University Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics (AMO) program is one of the largest in the country and ranked among the elite programs in atomic physics by US News and World Report.Worksite OptionThis position is on-site.   • Ph.D. (or equivalent) in physics, physical chemistry or a related field by the time the position begins
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Applicant would benefit from previous experience performing quantum chemistry calculations, especially those including excited states.
  • Applicant would also benefit from experience with scattering theory.
