Field Customer Support Specialist (Collections)

Location: Bronx, NY

Starting rate is between $17 - $18/hour plus commission.

JOB PURPOSE:

Manage customer accounts and meet company collections expectations by resolving past due accounts. Use company vehicle to complete customer home field visits and product returns in a manner consistent with Acima standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

\xe2\x97\x8f Coordinate with collections team to assist in resolving past due accounts
\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain accurate records of past due account activity
\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain accurate records of all field activity
\xe2\x97\x8f Complete customer field visits in a timely manner as assigned
\xe2\x97\x8f Complete customer product returns as scheduled
\xe2\x97\x8f Keep assigned vehicle(s) clean and maintained
\xe2\x97\x8f Follow all safety and product handling procedures
\xe2\x97\x8f Handle sensitive payment information securely
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure compliance with applicable DOT regulations

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

\xe2\x97\x8f Appropriate operator\xe2\x80\x99s license per state/federal regulations
\xe2\x97\x8f Working knowledge and compliance with DOT regulations
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication and customer service skills
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to talk on the phone when needed
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
\xe2\x97\x8f Capable of using basic technology
\xe2\x97\x8f Should have a general understanding of Microsoft Office and Google
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work independently and with others
\xe2\x97\x8f Past collections or door to door sales experience is preferred

EDUCATION:

\xe2\x97\x8f High school diploma or equivalent
