POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analysis Advisor is responsible for providing support for the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Financial Analytics team. The role is expected to provide modeling, forecasting, calculations and analysis associated with Accredo bad debt and collections. By partnering with Accredo operations, RCM collections leaders and accounting, this role will translate KPI trends and other metrics into actionable plans for collection efficiencies and improvements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide financial analysis and modeling related to bad debt, which includes bad debt/contractual allowance calculation reviews, incorporating specific reserves where appropriate and researching and explaining unusual results.

Responsible for monthly reporting and performance standards and analyzing variances and making financial recommendations to leadership.

Works with the Accredo RCM collections teams to create enhancements to the model for improved accuracy, to build out scenarios for new business and to regularly evaluate model assumptions.

Actively participate in identifying and operationalizing automated solutions.

Other projects/assignments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent work experience.

3+ years relevant experience with Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel; Experience with SQL/Tableau a plus.

Demonstrate modeling, trending and forecasting skills; accounts receivable collections and bad debt knowledge preferred.

Blend creativity, problem-solving and business acumen to drive innovation through analytics, recommending data driven operational efficiencies.

Experience working with various matrix partners to research and resolve issues.

Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a heavy workload.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of PBM or Healthcare industry preferred.

Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate departmental and project deadlines.

Ability to work independently and within a team.
